Nina Cook-Gallardo
Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Worker
My name is Nina Cook-Gallardo! I am a recent graduate from St. Olaf College in Northfield,
Minnesota, with a degree in Psychology and Spanish. I am originally from Moscow, Idaho but
have been in Minnesota for the past 5 years for school and work.
I am an adult rehabilitative mental health worker. As an ARMHS worker, I work closely with
clients on their decided goals that are affected by their mental/physical functioning. These goals
can range from finding housing/obtaining work to exercising or staying clean of substances.
Being a woman of color, who comes from a low-income background, I can empathize and
connect with my clients. Working with adults (18+) from low-income/diverse backgrounds
motivates me to help each individual achieve their goals.
Besides working as an ARMHS worker, I like to spend my time watching shows on Netflix and
playing the guitar and piano. Above all else, my favorite pastime is playing with my cat, Peach.
